It has been an odd year in terms of weather but our rut hunts didn’t disappoint. Our hunters have been seeing great deer this season on our farms throughout Pike County, Adams County and the surrounding areas. We are proud of the latest additions to the 2016 gallery. We’ve been carefully managing for trophy quality for 20 years and it’s very rewarding to see that paying off each season.
We will provide an update and photos on the Illinois gun hunts as soon as they are available. And of course the Thanksgiving archery hunt is always a fun time here at Hadley Creek. During last year’s Thanksgiving hunt, one of our hunters killed one of the biggest deer of the year, a buck that scored over 200”. We are excited to see what the next couple of weeks bring.

Here at Hadley Creek Outfitters, we manage tens of thousands of acres of free-range whitetail habitat here in the world-renown area of Pike County, Illinois. Our farms average 65% timber and 35% agricultural and we enforce a 140” minimum on all of our hunts. Additionally, we are a year-round commercial farming operation so our farms are laid out for hunting and the food plots are commercial in size. This also allows us to employ many of our guides year round – they know these farms and they are paid bonuses for each client deer killed. Our guides do NOT hunt our properties. All of these factors together have helped make Hadley Creek one of the finest whitetail hunting experiences anywhere in the world.
