The youth season this year was a great success. Our young hunters took some outstanding whitetail bucks. This is always one of the highlights of our year and this year was no exception. We loved the enthusiasm and persistence that the youth hunters bring with them.
The Illinois youth season is an early firearm deer hunt that is open to residents and nonresidents. This hunt is a wonderful opportunity to introduce young hunters to the sport during a time of year when the weather is pleasant and the chances for success are high.
