A Perfect Kick-Off to Opening Day in Pike County A Perfect Kick-Off to Opening Day in Pike County

Opening Day Success

Despite hot weather, our deer hunts here in Pike County, Illinois had a great opening-day kick off! Our hunters took three bucks on opening day, including a great 170-class non-typical.

Weather in Illinois and throughout the Midwest was in the 90s to start the season. With this hot weather, we knew it would be a challenge. But as our guides are so good at doing, they put our clients in good position for shooting opportunities.

Opening Day Archery BuckWe’re hoping to see a cool down in weather over the next couple of weeks. But no matter what Mother Nature throws at us, we will be ready! Our guides know these properties intimately; and with so many stand locations to choose from, we are set up to maximize opportunities.

We’d also like to take a moment to thank those early season hunters who are with us to start the season. Thanks for hunting with us at Hadley Creek this year!

We’ve started the 2017 Season Photo Gallery. Keep an eye on it throughout the season!
